About

My journey has been guided by my mantra to when it comes to your dreams, be Fearless.

I moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Florida A&M University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. I worked various sports events as a production assistant to earn the money I needed to buy a car. It took me a year, but I did it. I drove across the U-S with two-hundred dollars to my name to chase my dreams in hopes of becoming an entertainment reporter in LA. Though I was terrified I knew the city of Angels is where I needed to be. My parents told me I could always come home, but I knew if I ever went home it would mean I failed to achieve what I set out to do...Be Great!

I developed the power of storytelling through my vast career in media at E! Entertainment, CNN, Yahoo!, OWN, and Reuters to name a few. I wrote and produced entertainment pieces and was a red carpet producer for film premieres, junkets, and award shows. I successfully pivoted into tech with successful roles at BuzzFeed/Tasty most recently as a senior community manager at LinkedIn.

As a Jamaican immigrant I understood the value of hard work and perseverance. I built a robust network and curated meaningful relationships across the country. I specialize in developing and executing community-building initiatives that yield tangible results.

During my LinkedIn tenure, I developed relationships with Black women and women of color founders while teaching them to leverage their thought leadership to further build their businesses. I thrived helping creator entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams through strategic partnerships with community and industry leaders. I was laid off at LinkedIn in 2023, but I kept the momentum going by creating my company Too AMBITIOUS. I help women leadership organizations to develop their personal brand across social media.

I also host and produce a weekly series called Too AMBITIOUS where I interview Black women and women of color founders on LinkedIn Live and YouTube. I enjoy giving solopreneurs and small business owners a platform to share their story and promote their businesses.

I've had the honor of sharing my vision and expertise with entrepreneurs and executives at EY's Growth Strategic Forum, Digital Undivided, and even AfroTech. These experiences have enriched my diverse perspective and fueled my passion for driving positive change. I didn't become an entertainment reporter but I've achieved so much more. I'm a content creator who creates style and beauty content on Instagram on a consistent basis. I believe in the power of social media and I analyze trends to make informed decisions not only for my own platform but for organizations I partner with as well.

My path to get here was not a straight line by any means but I adapted and developed the tools to become the leader I am today. I wouldn't change a thing. I am still determined to drive innovation and to seek equality in rooms I find myself in. Change is inevitable, but it's what you do with that change that truly determines your success. I am living proof that anything is possible.
