About

I’m Tyler Sims, a strategist at TBWA\Chiat\Day New York with a passion for shaping culture through innovative and inclusive storytelling. With a strong understanding of emerging cultural trends, human psychology, and global influence, I work to create impactful campaigns for some of the world’s most iconic brands. As a Los Angeles native, my career has been defined by a commitment to diversity and representation across creative industries. I’ve focused on building partnerships with global brands, Grammy-winning artists, and nonprofits, all while pushing for the inclusion of underrepresented voices. My focus is on creating access and opportunities for industries historically underserved by diverse talent, ensuring the work I produce resonates with a broad range of audiences.

I earned my degree in Communications and Advertising from California State University Fullerton, followed by further studies at Université Paris-Est Créteil, where I honed my skills in business and marketing. This foundation provided me with the tools to drive my career and fueled my dedication to building a diverse and inclusive advertising industry. Beyond my professional life, I’m deeply committed to community work, founding the KSWISH Foundation in honor of my late brother. The foundation helps families battling cancer through the sport of basketball, offering financial and emotional support to dozens of families. I’m also actively involved with organizations like ADCOLOR and the Marcus Graham Project, where I work to advance diversity and inclusion in the creative industries.
