Malik oversees music development and music acquisitions for nonfiction television and films under Paramount Global, titles he has been across so far are “Mixtape”, Thriller 40”, “Milli Vanilli” “All Up in the Biz” and Lolla: The Story of Lollapalooza”. Prior to this role, Malik was part of the documentary and nonfiction teams at Hulu’s Onyx Collective and Freeform. In this role, he managed the strategy, development, and production of all documentary programming. In his independent work, he produced “Live PD,” “The Big Shot with Bethenny,” and “The Sit-In: Harry Belefonte Hosts The Tonight Show,” amongst others. Prior to her role with Quibi, he worked at NBC, where he produced Dateline as well as solo documentary projects for NBC News Studios, a nonfiction production company within NBC News.
