I'm Audrey Addo, a first-generation Ghanaian-American social media strategist and community builder. My work is driven by a commitment to amplify underrepresented voices and create impactful connections through education, technology and cultural understanding. As a Social Media Manager at The Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies, I develop brand communications frameworks that position our diverse student body and faculty members as thought leaders in global affairs, simplifying complex international relations topics for a broader nternational audience. This includes real-time social media coverage of critical events, such as the recent forum on the future of U.S.-Africa relations, sharing key insights and conversation starters in real-time so digital audiences could follow along and understand the significance of these relationship.</p> <p> </p> <p>My expertise extends to leveraging multicultural marketing and data-driven storytelling to drive engagement and growth. From scaling TikTok growth for edX to 55K+ within a year to empowering HBCU graduates and veterans with essential technical skill literacy, I consistently transform business objectives into authentic community experiences. In addition, I provide strategic digital marketing consulting to Black-owned businesses and nonprofits, enabling them to establish online presences that resonate and attract the right consumers. My entrepreneurial venture, The Gold Variety, curates immersive group travel experiences, fostering cultural exchange and cultivating global mindsets for busy professionals. My career is defined by a dedication to creating spaces that advocate for diverse narratives, and align with forward-thinking brands to drive impact and social change.</p>
