During her time at TCU, Zuri was a part of the student-run public relations and advertising agency, Roxo – where she served as project manager and account executive over the course of two semesters. Zuri worked as a student worker for the Neely's School of Business – Office of Inclusive Excellence, as well as an operations assistant for numerous athletic events.
