About

Growing up in NYC, the culturally vibrant communities always inspired me. This inspiration fueled my passion for creativity, which truly took off when I attended an art high school. This is where I explored the world of graphic design, and illustration. As I travel the world today, my perspective continues to expand. But you know what really gets me going? Seeing the lack of diversity in the creative world. That's what keeps me fired up as an Afro-Latina artist. A moment I will never forget is when I witnessed a Caribbean woman moved to tears upon viewing my work in Harlem. Her words hit home, deeply as the art touched her soul. The artwork was about an Afro-Latina embracing her roots in the motherland. As a tear rolled down her cheek, she mentioned, "This girl is who I am. I'm African, Hispanic, Latin, Spanish, everything that I am. This is beautiful to me." That interaction was a powerful reminder of the impact that art can have on people. It's not just about pretty pictures—it's about making connections, stirring up feelings, and touching hearts. And that's what I aim to do with everything I create.
