She began her career in the media and entertainment and non-profit industry. In 2012, she ventured into advertising and in 2015, she entered the world of technology when she accepted a sales position at Microsoft Advertising. </span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .25in; line-height: normal;"><em><span style="color: #1f4e79; mso-themecolor: accent5; mso-themeshade: 128;">During her tenure at Microsoft, Danielle excelled in roles in sales, operations, and strategy, as well as business development, all while serving as a leader in the Diversity &amp; Inclusion space. Outside of her thriving career in the corporate sector, Danielle is a social entrepreneur and CEO/Owner of Caption-It! App &ndash; a mobile app designed to provide captions and quotes for social media posting and sharing. Additionally, she is also Co-owner of The CuppaBrew Coffee &ndash; a Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee company that stands on sustainability. </span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .25in; line-height: normal;"><em><span style="color: #1f4e79; mso-themecolor: accent5; mso-themeshade: 128;">Danielle has a passion for traveling and giving back. In 2013, she founded The Star Boutique, Inc. - a nonprofit organization that supports teenage girls in New York City who are affected by homelessness. Through the Star Boutique, Danielle and her team have changed the lives of several hundreds of girls and have been recognized in local, national, and international media for their efforts. Annually, Danielle combines both of her passions by traveling to Kenya to engage in community work with underprivileged youth and struggling small business owners. </span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .25in; line-height: normal;"><em><span style="color: #1f4e79; mso-themecolor: accent5; mso-themeshade: 128;">Danielle is also an accomplished public speaker, giving lectures and workshops on Advertising/Marketing, Empowerment, Brand Development, Diversity &amp; Inclusion, Entrepreneurship, and Philanthropy as well as event hosting, leading and being on panels. Danielle has received numerous awards and accolades throughout her career, including the NewsOne/McDonald&rsquo;s 365 Black &ldquo;Community Hero&rdquo; award, the ADCOLOR &ldquo;Rising Star&rdquo; award, and the Microsoft &ldquo;Gold Club&rdquo; award, among others.
