Leeya Rose Jackson is an Art Director, Filmmaker, Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and Artist from Detroit, Mi, living in Minneapolis, MN. She runs an illustration shop under her moniker, LeeyaMakesNoise, and is the Creative Founder of Noisemakers Design Studio. As an Art Director, she has worked at Weiden + Kennedy, Fallon Mpls, and Carmichael Lynch. In 2019 she founded Noisemakers, taking the art direction/design knowledge learned from her agency jobs and making it attainable for small BIPOC/Queer-focused businesses and organizations to have bold, stand-out, high-level design work. Noisemakers has also worked with well-established and mission-aligned clients such as the Prince Estate, Superspecial Productions, Sony Music, Target x Black Beyond Measure x Loud Speakers Network, American Public Media, Afropunk, The Coven Mpls, and many more.  She has practiced painting for 15 years, earning her BFA in Fine Art from Illinois Wesleyan University. She has exhibited in Florence, Italy, Detroit, Mi, California, Minneapolis, Fargo, ND, and Boston, MA. She is a member of the Mpls artist community, Roho Collective, the Femme-designer collective AdWomxn, and the recipient of the 2022-2023 PF Studios Program grant. Her artwork has been commissioned by The Mall of America, The Four Seasons Mpls, On the Block Festival, and The University of Minnesota. Her illustration and graphic design have been commissioned by Afropunk Music Festival, Teach for America, Adobe x Billie Eilish, MPR, Giphy, Metro Transit, Outside Lands Festival, Heinz, and Voyageurs National Park.   @leeyamakesnoise |  leeyaroseart.com
