<p>Known as a media personality, my presence in the industry reflects the diverse catalog of content I&rsquo;ve produced since the inception of my freelance career in 2018.</p> <p>In a makeshift production set within a college student apartment, I conducted my first interview with a local Atlanta artist. This initially hesitant yet passion-inspired encounter served as the catalyst to over 30+ one on one interviews with a range of people from diverse fields and backgrounds. With each individual, I found myself moved by their reactions &amp; fully immersed in their unique experiences &amp; stories. Often it felt like I was visually projecting their narrative in my mind, as if unfolding before me like a movie.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Unexpectedly, this path led to engagements such as red carpet interviewing, moderating and hosting panels at widely attended events and covering the media at summits such as Essence GU, HLY Summit, and AJTV Women in Television. These experiences progressively developed my skills as a content creator, harnessing my innate storytelling ability and establishing my brand as an outgoing, multifaceted conversationalist at heart.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Within this time, I accepted a position as a sideline reporter and content creator for Reflex Football, a prominent Atlanta-based flag football league. This seemingly divergent path not only refined the skills every media expert needs, but also reaffirmed my overarching love of passion-filled narratives. It was within this opportunity that I discovered my newfound passion for cinematography, adding yet another layer to my journey.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Over the past two years, I've actively participated in a various experiences that have contributed to the refinement of my cinematic eye, capturing abilities, and dynamic storytelling editing style.Favorites include capturing a dance company's national competition journey and being entrusted to go through pre-shot clips of a surprise engagement weekend, editing it into a cinematic love story. I've also created an adaptation of Nicole Kidman's AMC "We Make Movies Better" video.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Now serving as the media director of a young adult ministry, all I've learned as a media personality, interviewer, conversationalist, and cinematographer is being used, with space to grow through the projects we produce quarterly.</p> <p>Reflecting on the past 5 years, I am pleased to see my career aligns with the true interest that initiated this journey and has revealed an equally fulfilling passion. At its core, my title as a media personality draws from the genuine and revealing nature of conversation. Taking what Ive learned in verbal storytelling, I've transferred it to visual storytelling, bringing stories and diverse perspectives to life through another medium. This is why my core interests will forever drive me to explore new environments, encounter new people, and foster communities.&nbsp;</p>
