<p>Saidah Belo-Osagie is a Nigerian-American and Long Island-bred comedian, actress, and writer based in NYC. She began her creative journey as the writer and director of her debut short film, TINGE, which screened at film festivals nationwide including NewFest, Tallgrass, and East Village Queer Festival. Driven by a love for absurdity and storytelling, she leapt into clown training at Terry Knickerbocker Studio– an experience that made her the fool she is today. </p> <p>Saidah is the host and star of UNSCRIPTED, a variety show at Union Hall that parodies reality TV dating shows with the help of fellow stand-up comics. She also created and hosted the Soho House event series, Afrobeats Futura, which won the inaugural Unsung Hero Award at the 2023 Soho House Awards. She’s performed at popular venues including Caveat, Soho Playhouse, The Elysian, and BCC. She’s also been featured on several digital platforms, including Reductress, NowThis, Subway Takes, and Overheard New York. </p> <p>She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and a minor in Film & Media Studies.</p>
