<p>As a Senior Account Executive for Ketchum’s healthcare practice, Paula Chirinos drives health equity initiatives and Hispanic/Latine engagement for global clients, leveraging her perspective as a proud Latina immigrant. With expertise spanning account management, media relations, and regulatory communications, she has been a trusted partner to leading healthcare and biotech companies, including Johnson & Johnson, the American Heart Association, Novartis, AstraZeneca, and Gilead. </p> <p> <br>Paula’s commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion is evident through her recognition as a 2021 ADCOLOR FUTURE and the 2024 PRovoke Media Young Changemakers Award recipient, the sole winner in North America. She has also been honored by the PR Museum’s NextGen Awards Program (2024), the Public Relations Professionals of Long Island (2020), and New York Women in Communications (2019) for her leadership in public relations and advocacy towards underrepresented communities.</p> <p> </p> <p>Her career includes notable roles at Edelman, Weber Shandwick, and the United Nations Foundation, where she helped launch the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund in partnership with the World Health Organization, to provide resources to medical professionals globally at the peak of the pandemic. Paula’s work reflects her dedication to using her voice and expertise to uplift diverse communities and advance global health initiatives. <br> <br>Paula graduated with honors from Hofstra University, double majoring in Public Relations and Global Studies, with minors in Marketing, Civic Engagement, and Geography.
