Watching </span><span class="s2">“A Day in the Life of a UX Designer”</span><span class="s1"> videos on YouTube ignited a fire in her, leading her to pivot into UX design with a mission: to make technology more intuitive, accessible, and meaningful.</span></p> <p class="p2"> </p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Her first major role in tech was at </span><span class="s2">Genworth</span><span class="s1">, where she worked on </span><span class="s2">CareScout</span><span class="s1">, a startup marketplace aimed at helping families connect with quality caregivers. There, she led the effort to </span><span class="s2">redesign the sign-up experience</span><span class="s1">, boosting caregiver sign-up rates by </span><span class="s2">25%</span><span class="s1"> by simplifying workflows, reducing friction, and improving guidance for new users. She also played a key role in </span><span class="s2">building a design system from scratch</span><span class="s1">, ensuring consistency across the platform while collaborating closely with engineers and marketers.</span></p> <p class="p2"> </p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1">Now, as a </span><span class="s2">product designer</span><span class="s1"> at a life insurance company, Habibah is tackling complex problems in the </span><span class="s2">health and financial sectors</span><span class="s1">, creating digital experiences that help people make informed decisions about their care.
