<p>Crystal Anokam is a Nigerian-American art director & photographer currently working at VIRTUE Worldwide, VICE's creative agency.</p> <p> </p> <p>Starting her career in Public Health, Crystal soon shifted her focus to pursue her creative passions at the intersection of photography, art direction, design and technology. Her interdisciplinary background plays an influential role in her creative approach and is grounded by her devotion to make work that bridges people together. To date, she has worked with Planned Parenthood, Next of Us Haircare, VICE Black+, All Nippon Airways, and others.</p> <p> </p> <p>Outside of her advertising work, Crystal has an eye for fashion and hosts the Chasing Genius podcast, a show for creatives in pursuit of their own creative geniuses. Born and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Crystal currently lives in Philadelphia. </p>
