About

Elevating Diverse Voices, Shaping Inclusive Narratives
Growing up, I recognized early on that stories shape our world. As a Black woman navigating the intersections of media, business, and culture, I have always been passionate about ensuring that diverse voices are not only heard but celebrated. This passion has guided my career in public relations, leading me to roles where I could influence narratives, build bridges between communities, and amplify the work of underrepresented storytellers.

With over 15 years of experience in public relations, I have dedicated my career to shaping impactful, authentic stories that reflect the richness of our world. As the Director of Public Relations for Comcast’s Central Division, I lead multicultural media outreach, ensuring that diverse media outlets and content creators have access to opportunities and resources that elevate their voices. One of my most meaningful initiatives has been the Champions of Change movement, a program I created to highlight and celebrate the contributions of journalists of color. Through this initiative, I have spearheaded events that provide platforms for Black and Brown journalists to connect, collaborate, and receive the recognition they deserve.

Beyond my corporate role, I have independently supported storytellers through Suzanne Forte PR, a consultancy where I advise emerging media professionals and businesses on effective communication strategies. Whether working with major brands or independent creators, my mission remains the same: to make sure diverse voices have a seat at the table.

Attending Cannes as a Diversity Fellow would be a defining moment in my career. The global stage presents an opportunity to not only learn from the best minds in media but to also contribute my perspective on how we can expand access and equity within storytelling industries. I am particularly passionate about leveraging AI and technology to foster more inclusive narratives, ensuring that historically marginalized communities are not left behind in the evolving media landscape.

Through this fellowship, I aim to bring my expertise in multicultural media relations, my deep network of diverse media professionals, and my strategic storytelling approach to conversations that shape the future of global media. More importantly, I want to help Cannes become a hub for emerging Black, Hispanic, and underrepresented creators who are often overlooked in international markets.

Diversity is not just about representation—it’s about influence, access, and equity. My work in media relations has always centered on these principles, and I am eager to bring this perspective to Cannes, fostering a more inclusive industry for generations to come.
