I started in finance and law, working as a bank examiner, then as a banking and bankrupcy attorney at a top firm, and later as Chief Counsel for Pennsylvania’s anti-discrimination agency. I’ve led at the intersection of law, leadership, and strategy, ensuring that diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) aren’t just feel-good initiatives, but measurable, outcome-driven strategies that create real impact.</p> <p data-start="775" data-end="1086">I was the first Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer for the Philadelphia Police Department, where I took on one of the most resistant cultures to change, and made measurable progress before facing targeted pushback. My firing made national news, but instead of being silenced, I expanded my mission.</p> <p data-start="1088" data-end="1509">Today, I advise organizations on how to embed equity into business strategy, manage risk in a hostile climate, and build resilient leadership that withstands external pressures. Through The ESP Effect LLC, I partner with leaders who refuse to retreat from progress, providing executive consulting, leadership development, and risk mitigation strategies that keep organizations both mission-aligned and future-proof.</p> <p data-start="1511" data-end="1767">As an internationally recognized DEI expert, keynote speaker, and strategic advisor, I work with global brands, healthcare organizations, and nonprofit leaders to drive sustainable change—because leadership isn’t just about intention.
