About

I hated elevator pitches in college. As a forever theatre kid I felt boxed in. Until my first job post-masters landed me in front of a 12th-grade Speech and Debate class. My stage was the smallest it had ever been, and my audience? Tougher than Rotten Tomatoes critics.

But it was in that tiny classroom, amid Florida's book bans and crackdowns on anti-racist rhetoric, I found creative freedom. I taught students to challenge systemic beliefs, embrace diversity, and engage in civil discourse. Creativity doesn't come with open arms or unlimited space, you have to hunt it down and shape it to fit your reality.

So, I went hunting. After four years of teaching, I pivoted to copywriting. Starting as a junior copywriter, I grinded through 16 hour days while I balanced an in-house and agency role to master the art of compelling, conversion-driven storytelling. Now, just three years later, I work closely with IKEA and Ford as the senior copywriter crafting personalized content within the smallest boxes and tightest character counts.

But my hunger for creative challenges is insatiable. That's why my next stage is the Cannes Lions Creative Academy, surrounded by industry-leading creatives who are just as fired up as I am.
