<p>I’m a computer engineer by trade, but I’ve spent the last ten years also working as an advocate building spaces for people who don’t always see themselves in the rooms where innovation is happening. My background is in security, cloud engineering, and infrastructure, but my work is about making sure women and underrepresented technologists are not just present, but positioned as builders, leaders, and decision-makers in AI, blockchain, AR/VR, and machine learning.</p> <p data-start="498" data-end="790">I’ve always moved between different worlds, technical, creative, or strategic, and I never understood why people try to separate them. I don’t believe in that divide. I see engineering as creativity, problem-solving as storytelling, and technology as a medium for building real, tangible change.</p> <p data-start="792" data-end="1235">I’ve led operations and produced conferences like <strong data-start="842" data-end="881">Baddies in Tech and Hue Tech Summit</strong>. I organize <strong data-start="894" data-end="943">NASA Glenn Research Center’s annual hackathon</strong>. Im building <strong data-start="957" data-end="975">CreateHER Fest</strong> because I want to empower more women with the experience and strategy to be and build the solutions to the problems they see themselves the answer to. The value of learning by doing, having real access to tools, mentorship, and opportunities to transform their ideas into solutions means that more women will walk away knowing they belong in technical spaces, that they are capable, and that they can create real impact with their ideas.</p> <p data-start="1237" data-end="1555">Last week, I launched the <strong data-start="1263" data-end="1288">.her top-level domain</strong> for International Women’s Day because I wanted a digital space that signals visibility, that signals intention. I’ve worked with <strong data-start="1418" data-end="1455">NASA, Google, Microsoft, Coinbase</strong>, and so many others to ensure that women in tech aren’t just in the room, but shaping the future.</p> <p data-start="1557" data-end="1864" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">This isn’t just what I do. It’s who I am. I create access. I remove barriers. I make sure the people who were told these spaces weren’t built for them get the tools and opportunities they need to build anyway. Because the future isn’t coming—it’s being built right now. And I’m making sure we’re part of it.</p>
