About

For over a decade, I have been on a mission—one deeply rooted in history yet urgently focused on the future. I stepped into leadership at Black Professionals in International Affairs (BPIA) at a time when it was on the brink of decline. Through strategic vision, relentless execution, and a commitment to uplifting Black voices in global policy, I transformed it into a thriving network of over 800 members and 15,000 followers.

My journey has never been just about a title or an organization. It has been about answering three fundamental questions: What does the future hold for Black professionals in global affairs? How can we advance as a society while war, poverty, and conflict persist? And how can I be part of the solution?

The answers have taken me from working with top conflict resolution experts in South Sudan to engaging with policymakers in Washington, D.C. I have launched initiatives like the Colin Powell Leadership Institute, designed to train the next generation of Black foreign affairs professionals. I have built bridges between corporate, STEM, and artistic communities to elevate diplomacy and de-escalation as core leadership skills.

But my work is far from over. I believe the future of diplomacy—and peace itself—depends on preparing leaders who are as culturally competent as they are strategic, as fearless as they are empathetic. I aim to join communities of leaders who sharpen my ability to scale impact, strengthen global networks, and drive meaningful change. Because a better world is not just possible—it is necessary. And I intend to help build it.
