<p>Five years ago, I was nannying for a Black power couple working in advertising and communications while I prepped for the LSAT. As I changed their baby's diapers, I watched and learned their hustle, fell in love with it and decided to pivot my entire career. Fast forward to today - I have a master's degree in Communications, a portfolio from Miami Ad School, and I'm copywriting for GUT - one of the best agency networks in the world (THE best, if you ask any Gutsy). But there's still so much for me to accomplish. I won't be satisfied until I am a Cannes Lion award recipient, and more Black creatives are working, and running the world of Advertising. Breaking glass ceilings won't be as fun if I'm the only one with a hammer. </p>
