Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in the suburbs of Queens, I stood at five feet tall, always in the minority yet never intimidated. As the eldest of three siblings, independence was instilled in me from a young age, and I've never been afraid of voicing my opinions. After pursuing my education at Spelman College and experiencing international study opportunities in Spain, Greece, and China, my purpose became clear. Inspired by Spelman's mantra, "a choice to change the world," I've been unwaveringly dedicated to making an impact since my graduation in 2012.</p>
