Warm Pacific greetings!</strong></p> <p class="" data-start="179" data-end="588">I’m Ardalena Elena Moana Sipeni, a Marketing Manager specializing in social media with over 5 years of experience. My roots are from Niue, a small island in the South Pacific. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Otago, where I studied Marketing and Music on a scholarship. I thought, “Let’s do something that’ll keep me in school (Music) and something that will one day pay me for my creativity!”</p> <p class="" data-start="590" data-end="1164">Breaking into the industry? Not gonna lie, it was tough. After uni, with no connections and few people who looked like me in the field, I worked in retail, completely unsure of how I was going to break into what I really wanted. Then, I landed a role at Spark NZ’s contact center, New Zealand’s biggest telecommunications company. I thought, “They do everything here, I’m bound to find a way in!” And I did. I put my hand up for every opportunity, worked hard, and gradually made my way up. Spark saw my potential and invested in my growth, giving me the platform to thrive.</p> <p class="" data-start="1166" data-end="1428">As a leader in the brand team, I embrace creativity, connection, and storytelling. Passionate about technology and innovation, I’m inspired by how they reshape how we live and create. Spark has allowed me to bring my unique perspective and show up authentically.</p> <p class="" data-start="1430" data-end="1806">In the near future, my dream is to run a marketing agency for Pacific people, by Pacific people. I plan to create a space where Pacific talent can shine, and where our stories are told in ways that are meaningful and authentic to us.
