<p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px; white-space-collapse: preserve; background-color: #ffffff;">Andrea Campos is a Mexican-American illustrator and visual artist based in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Chicago, Andrea made her way to the West Coast in 2015 in search of warmer weather and her version of the American Dream. In January 2020, after nearly a decade in marketing and advertising, Andrea decided to shift her career focus from account/production to creative. Her timing could have been better, because just weeks later, the pandemic hit and every freelance creative project she had landed disappeared. Like so many others at that time, Andrea became unemployed overnight and felt anxious and overwhelmed by the state of the world. So, she turned to art as a way to make sense of it all, and started sharing her work via ‘dreasdoodles’ on Instagram. Within months, Andrea’s work started to go viral, catching the attention of authors, agents, and even a few celebrities. Including Jimmy Fallon, and Jennifer Lopez, who invited Andrea to illustrate their debut bilingual children’s book ‘Con Pollo’ (Fiwel & Friends 2022) Today, Andrea is a New York Times best selling illustrator - who loves encouraging play in people's lives. She is the creative force behind 'dreasdoodles' and to date has worked with companies like Google, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Athleta on a variety of projects including, marketing campaigns, books and toys. Andrea made her Target shelf debut in 2023, when she collaborated with Arctic Zone to create a Target exclusive ‘dreasdoodles’ lunchbox collection. In addition to illustrating children's books, and designing surface patterns Andrea is an inspirational speaker who has traveled around the country visiting universities, grade schools, fortune 500 companies and more - leading conversations around finding your joy, creativity, and the power of play.</span></p>
