My heritage is Arab-Latina American, and I've always been passionate about using my skills to create an impact. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Currently, I'm a Senior Art Director at Edelman New York by Day and an adjunct professor at CUNY New York City College of Technology by night.</span></p> <p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.7999999999999998; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.7999999999999998; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">I started my career as a computer scientist, but eventually, I decided to become an Art Director. I love the creative aspects of storytelling and design, and seeing my work come to life has been incredibly fulfilling. </span></p> <p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.7999999999999998; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;">&nbsp;</p> <p><strong style="font-weight: normal;">&nbsp;</strong><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Over the years, I've worked with various clients, including Degree, Pure Leaf, Colgate, Samsung, Verizon, Amazon, Ikea, and Walmart. It's been an honor to receive recognition for my creativity, including being named one of The Drum's top 50 under 30 emerging female creatives in the US. I've also been a semi-finalist for Advertising Week's "Future is Female" award and a Maiper to watch for 2019.</span></p> <p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.7999999999999998; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">In addition to my work, I'm deeply committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the advertising industry and beyond. I'm proud to be a Mena for ADCOLOR Leadership Committee member and 100 Roses from Concrete. I also served on the MAIP Alumni Council from 2019 to 2021. I need to use my platform to impact the world positively.</span></p>
