About

I am a creative digital media & content creative with relevant experience in social media, broadcasting, and video production. Utilizing my strong visual story-telling skills and perspective, I create engaging content that exists at the intersection of media and culture.

I am a recent graduate from The Ohio State University, achieving Summa Cum Laude honors with a degree in Moving Image Production and a minor in Film Studies. Throughout my academic journey, I consistently earned placement on the Dean's List for eight consecutive terms. My passion and involvement in sports media, broadcasting, and film span a wide spectrum of experiences. I had the privilege of serving as an Ohio State Athletics Department Live Video Assistant, Ohio State Football Coaches Video Assistant, Big Ten Network Live Video Assistant, Big Ten Network Brand Ambassador, NASCAR Productions Intern, Ohio State Student Life Digital Media Assistant and more. Moreover, I actively engaged in mentoring and guiding the next generation of filmmakers as a selected Student Film Ambassador for the Theatre, Film, and Media Arts Department at Ohio State. In this capacity, I represented the department at university events and shared insights with prospective students about academics, student life, and various opportunities within the field.

I have sincere commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion as a Morrill Scholars Program Distinction Scholarship Recipient, awarded to 1 of 60 out of 7,000 applicants who are actively engaged in diversity-based leadership, service, and social justice activities. Outside of my skills in digital media and video production, my strongest passion is community/team building as I have founded 2 student organizations at The Ohio State University: the Caribbean Student Association (CSA) and Minority Collegiate Outreach & Support Team (MCOST). As a First Generation Jamaican American, I founded and served as the 1st President of the Caribbean Student Association at Ohio State. During my time with CSA, my executive board and I cultivated a community space for over 200 Caribbean and non-Caribbean students to learn, celebrate, and showcase the diverse history of the Caribbean. As Co-Founder/Marketing Chair of MCOST I founded "THE Gratitude Initiative" to highlight and thank community members such as bus drivers, custodial staff, and Office of Diversity and Inclusion staff for their contributions to our institution through personalized letters and gifts. Additionally, I volunteered as Community Refugees and Immigration Service Mentor in the International Affairs Scholars Program where I empowered refugees and immigrants through encouragement, education, and support.

I absolutely love being on a court and behind a camera! Whether attending a game for professional commitments or personal enjoyment, I find immense satisfaction in immersing myself in the exhilarating ambiance of new arenas. Witnessing diverse crowds come together in celebration adds a profound layer of excitement to the experience, highlighting the unifying power of sports and the magic it brings across various backgrounds.

Check out my website at: JulietZCampbell.com
